Joining the Order!! 

So your interested in joining the Crusade?! Most Excellent! We need strong arms and loyal hearts to raise swords with us in service to God and the one true Church!

Joining us is not as easy as paying dues and swearing oaths, The decision to join the finest order of chivalry in the world is not one to be taken lightly!  The order of German Knights must be sure of your true intent upon joining and you too must be sure of your intent, for weak wills have no place on our order!

To Join the order, you must first declare yourself as Prospect. For a period of three major events, or six months, which ever is greater, you will fight with us wearing  a white surcoat with no cross, During this time, you will be observed to ensure that you are dedicated to the Code of Chivalry. During the time you are prospecting, you must also attend a fighter practice and a weapon build so that we can teach you our way of fighting and of building weapons. All this may seem difficult but really, if you are dedicated to the Order, and to Dagorhir as a whole, these requirements shouldn't be all that difficult.

At the time of your Induction into the Order, you will be made a Squire to one of the Knights of the Order. This will ensure that someone can take the time to really train you in combat skills, chivalry and the code, as well as your requirements for knighthood.

Upon induction, you must field with the following items:

• A Broadsword (Dag Legal, with crossguard)
• A White Tabard with the Black Cross emblazoned on the chest and back
• A shield suitable for duty as part of the line
• A black tunic or shirt benieth (knights may wear red, black or gold)
• A pair of black pants
• Sturdy boots, Combat boots are preffered.
